| Physiology |
Primary fungal pulmonary infections include Histoplasma capsulatum Coccidioides immitis, Cryptococcus neofromans, and Blastomyces dermatititdis. Definitive diagnosis depends upon the presence of clinical signs of pulmonary infection, a chest x-rayrevealing abnormality such as granuloma.
