Clevedon Oysters may Be Contaminated With Norovirus

Health officials in Auckland are saying that Clevedon oysters may be contaminated with norovirus.

Norovirus symptoms are similar to gastroenteritis.


In this case the oysters were harvested between June 30 and July 18. Currently some 73 cases of norovirus infection from the oysters are known to officials, according to Medical Officer of Health Greg Simmons.
