A company in Auroville, the international township set up by spiritual leader Sri Aurobindo, will commercially market in India a "curative ionised water" that is said to treat various ailments, including diabetes.
Aqua Dyn has been successfully selling the bottled water in Auroville for five years and has been exporting equipment to "dynamise", or ionise water through generation of electro-magnetic pulses, to France and other European countries.Apart from diabetes, this bio-dynamised water is said to cure arthritis, as also heart, kidney and skin problems.
The technique was developed in France some years ago. Aqua Dyn has taken the technology forward by developing commercially viable equipment to bio-dynamise drinking water.
