RNIB has been granted £25,000 for helping blind and partially sighted people in the Lothians to return to work. The Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB) received a £25,000 donation from banking giant Barclays and the grant will help in launching the charity's Positive Steps programme, which provides motivational training for people preparing to enter employment.

The course will be conducted for those who are over 17 years of age and will take place at RNIB Scotland's Employment and Learning Centre at the Jewel and Esk Valley College at Joppa.
