The increase of HIV cases in Australia has prompted the government to bring about new and effective campaigns against this deadly disease. Gay sex has been found out to be main reason for this sudden surge in AIDS cases in this island continent.

According to a study, there is a phenomenal 41% increase of HIV cases which is surely a disturbing scenario. Health ministry is planning to spend $10 million for campaigns which would address these issues for a period of four years. Sexual health has definitely become a matter of concern.

This campaign is intended to be very refined and targeted at gay community and the general public. They are going to be educated about the impact of AIDS in their lives and how it could affect them. Sage sex and use of condoms are also going to be urged. The amount spent on such campaigns is surely going to have a direct impact on the drug subsidies too.
