Director of White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) has warned parents about the misuse of prescription drugs by their children.
According to the report issued by the drug czar, the abuse of prescription drugs by teenagers is on the rise. The medicines that are at home used by the parents are being swiped by their children.The painkillers like Oxy Contin and Vicodin are the common drugs that are being consumed by the kids. Hence the parents are requested to keep track of their medicines and throw away expired ones immediately. This report also indicates that children are buying these drugs online.
