Minister Supports Private Sector In NHS

by Jyothsna on Feb 26 2007 12:27 PM

Jack McConnel, the first Minister inaugurated the Scottish Regional Treatment Centre at Stracathro Hospital, Angus on 25th February. On this occasion, he spoke about the facilities that are being extended to NHS patients.

According to Mr. McConnell, patients under this scheme are not made to wait and they are being treated faster. This facility is useful to people from both the rural and urban setup.

Though there was some kind of apprehension when the change had commenced, it is well understood now. People realize now that the private sector in NHS has actually benefited patients immensely. Waiting time has been reduced to a large extent.
